Hot to Trot
Hot to Trot was released in 1988 and was directed by Michael Dinner. The film grossed $6,436,211 nationally and it stars Bobcat Goldthwait (Fred P. Chaney),John Candy (Voice of Don) and Dabney Coleman (Walter Sawyer). The story begins with Fred P. Chaney receiving an inheritance after the death of his mother. It is a talking horse that also has a great knack for the stock-market. With the help of this horse, Fred profits a great deal from the stock-market of Chicago. After a few financial disasters, Fred and his horse Don are left penniless. They have a chance to redeem themselves and decide to enter a horse race. If they win, Fred will win a stable of prized horses including the horse that Don has a crush on.
