Little Shop of Horrors was released in 1986 and was directed by Frank Oz. The film grossed 247,934,754 and had a budget of $30,000,000. Starring Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, Vincent Gardenia, Steve Martin and Levi Stubbs as the voice of Audrey II. With a noted appearance from John Candy as Wilk Wilkinson. The story begins with Seymour, a boy who is an orphan, being taken in and given a job at a store called Mushnik’s. A small flower shop in a very urban neighborhood. He spends his time doing small tasks and day dreaming of the shop girl Audrey. One day after an eclipse, Seymour is made aware of a strange plant. He purchases it and names it Audry II. While watering the plant he discovers the plant’s unusual appetite. The plant continues growing, and craziness breaks out.
