Lost and Found
Lost and Found is a comedy film directed by Melvin Frank, released in 1979 and grossed over $3,223,374. With an star studded cast comprised of George Segal (Adam), Glenda Jackson (Tricia), Maureen Stapleton (Jemmy), Paul Sorivino (Reilly) and John Candy as Carpentier. Filmed in the beautiful parks of Canada. The plot begins with a Tricia played by Glenda Jackson, who takes a ski holiday to forget about her recent divorce. Through a series of mishaps she winds up crashing, and all the while clashing into a widower Adam played by George Segal. The two then marry and settle in their new life together. But soon problems arise when Tricia begins to feel like she is competing with Adam’s deceased wife. She then decides to return back to her home in England. While separated Adam tries to commit suicide. Tricia then realizes he really and truly Loves her. The film ends with a uplifting ending.
